Special opportunity for Learning for Life students

There are a range of accommodation options available at The University of Melbourne.

The Smith Family has close connections with staff at Trinity College, Little Hall, Queen’s College and Ormond College. Make sure to indicate you are a Learning for Life student on your application.

Opportunity at Little Hall

The Hansen Scholarship is awarded to talented undergraduate students whose financial circumstances present a challenge to accessing a first-class education.

Recipients are awarded accommodation at Little Hall, an allowance, and financial and personal support. It is worth up to $108,000.

Applications for the Hansen Scholarship for Year 12 students close early in the calendar year. If the application period is closed, check again next year.

Opportunity at Ormond College

Full residential and non-residential scholarship opportunities at Ormond College are available for Learning for Life students.

Students supported by The Smith Family may be eligible for a full-fee or close to full-fee remission scholarship up to $34,387 per year for three years of their undergraduate degree.

Please note, you can only have one application with a residential college at The University of Melbourne at any one time. If one college is unable to support a student, they will work with another college to find a place that may have financial support.
