Student2student: A fun way to improve your child’s reading!
Our student2student program matches an older student (the buddy) with your child (the reader) to help improve their reading and confidence.
Your child will read with their buddy for 20 minutes, two to three times a week, over 18 weeks.
How does my child complete the reading sessions?
Your child can participate in the program via the Digital Model by using a computer, laptop, or tablet to access the Chatty Kids website, where they can read a variety of electronic books.
It was good reading to someone that I didn’t know because they didn’t judge me when I made mistakes.

Places in the student2student program are limited. Check the Offers page in My Smith Family to see what's available for your child.
You can also talk to your Family Partnership Coordinator about what educational programs may be available in your area.
