Voice – The VIEW Blue Sapphire Voice Award
Awarded to an Area, Zone, Club or Member who demonstrates key advocacy raising awareness about VIEW and advocating for Australian children experiencing disadvantage
To enter, you need to provide evidence of the key advocacy or significant connection – e.g published media story (online, print or radio), report on local news, Hansard entry, etc.
Interests – The VIEW Blue Sapphire Interests Award
Awarded to an area, zone, club or member who demonstrates the most innovative, clever or creative way to attract women to their meetings through a local or national initiative
To enter, you need to provide evidence of prospective members attending meetings, new members joining (on a percentage basis) or the success of the fundraising initiative via photos, membership applications and funds raised. Entries will be judged on creativity as well as impact.
Education - The Blue Sapphire Education Award
Awarded to an Area, Zone, Club or Member who demonstrates an impactful way of connecting with students on the Learning for Life program or The Smith Family staff in their local area.
To enter, you need to provide an example of “Best Correspondence” with a student or an example of a special way of connecting with local Smith Family staff (through photos).
Women - The VIEW Blue Sapphire Award for connecting, networking and volunteering
Awarded to an area, zone, club or member who demonstrates an impactful and innovative volunteering or networking experience that supports one of the following key VIEW pillars
- VIEW’s supportive network helps women build lasting friendships
- VIEW women volunteer their time to help children living with disadvantage,
so that every child has the opportunity to change their futures through education
To enter, you need to tell us about a volunteering or networking experience where you have made connections while making a difference.
All entries
- Should be 150 words or less
- Can include attachments (documents or photos)
- Must be entered in only one category
- Labelled with Category, Club name and member name (if applicable)
- Occurrences – 1 January 2023 – 1 August 2025
