  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.

  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
There are more than 300 VIEW Clubs located in communities throughout Australia looking for new members – women from all backgrounds and walks of life, who want to make a difference.

Belconnen Day VIEW Club

About

Belconnen Day VIEW Club was formed in 1971.

Currently, the Club sponsors six Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Location

When: Meeting Day on 2nd Tuesday each month
Time: 11.30 am for 12 noon
Where: at the Raiders Club
Cost:: $32 for a 2 course meal including tea and coffee

Time for the Annual General Meeting

Jan B kindly chaired the AGM for us. President Gaye C thanked all the committee for their work during the year and made special mention of the great work Mary W and Barbara M have done over many years on the committee. Thank you, ladies.

Welcome National Councillor Frances in August 2024

During August, Members had the pleasure of Frances our National Counsellor, attend our meeting and talk about VIEW and its commitment to The Smith Family.

Flashmob Promotion for View in May 2024

In May, Members attended Kippax Fair in Canberra to promote VIEW, and were very pleased with the great response from the public.

Mothers Day May 2024

What a wonderful day everyone had celebrating Mother’s day, with our red theme. After a wonderful lunch we had lots of laughs with trivia around Mother’s Day. Raffle prizes and lucky door prizes were won by some lucky ladies.

Members were pleased to also welcome three new members, who can be seen in the accompanying photo.

Ten Year Badge in May 2024

A ten year service badge was presented to Carmel as shown in the accompanying photo.

International Women's Day 2024

During March twenty-one of our lovely Members celebrated International Women's Day. Barb, Lyn and Heather were all very pleased to win lucky door prizes.
