  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.

  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

Engadine Evening VIEW Club

About

Engadine Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1972.

Currently, the Club sponsors two Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Club News

Meet Our Committee

On Monday evening, 12th February, our Club held our first meeting for 2024. It was our Annual General Meeting chaired by Madge and elections were held. It was a great night catching up after the Christmas break and we wish President Barb and her new Committee who can be seen in the accompanying photo, all the best for a successful 2024.

February 2025 Fashion Show

On Saturday 1st of February, our Club held its first fundraiser for the year. We enjoyed a Fashion Parade by Stafford Fashions in the home of one of our Members.

It was a great social day to start the year.

Christmas 2024 Celebrations

Our Club's Christmas Dinner was a fun filled night with decorations and lots of Christmas themed activities. Our entertainment was provided by Paul Hodgkinson who had the room singing along with gusto!

It was a great night with lots of prizes and gifts thanks to our President Barb.

July 2024

On Monday 8th July at our dinner meeting, our guest speaker was Andrew Melrose, a local snake handler. He was a great speaker and we learnt a lot about our local reptiles.

Mothers Day Morning Tea in May 2024

During May a large group of Members and friends attended a Mother's Day Morning Tea at the Civic Cafe in Engadine. It was a lovely social morning with excellent food.

April 2024 Catch-Up for Members

During April, eight of our Members and 2 visitors, attended The Embark Restaurant at Loftus TAFE.

We enjoyed a lovely 2 course lunch which included a mint and lemon soft drink on arrival and a beautiful hot homemade dinner roll. It was a great social outing giving Members a chance to get to know each other.
