  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
- Resolutions
  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

About

Maitland VIEW Club was formed in 1965.

Currently, the Club sponsors four Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

59 Years Young in 2024

During August Members celebrated our 59th Birthday at Telarah Bowling Club. The theme was Black and White. We had several other clubs join in the celebrations with a luncheon and a birthday cake.

August 2024 Birthday Celebrations

President Robin, welcomed all to our event, and Councilor Angie Carroll, congratulated our Club and spoke about VIEW.

During the lunch, one of our Members, Robyn B, received her 20 year service badge; congratulations Robyn, a big achievement!

A Birthday to Enjoy

Members had worked hard to make sure the day was enjoyable for all. We are small, but united and very active.

During the event we had a trading table and a very successful Tombola game with amazing prizes, and a 3-course meal with coffee and tea.

August 2024 Guest Speaker

Our guest speaker was Peter Lewis (Artist (Painter), Artist (Cartoonist / Illustrator) and Peter Lewis cartoon dog Romeo, a Newcastle Herald star.

Veteran cartoonist Peter Lewis and his faithful pup are retiring from the Newcastle Herald after 30 years. Very entertaining speaker!!

Tickets for our 2024 Mothers Day Raffle

Members are busy selling tickets for our Mother's Day Raffle, which will be drawn on 11th May at 11am at Heritage Garden Centre in East Maitland NSW.
