- What we do
  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
- Resolutions
  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
There are more than 300 VIEW Clubs located in communities throughout Australia looking for new members – women from all backgrounds and walks of life, who want to make a difference.

About

Port Macquarie Day VIEW Club was formed in 1967.

Currently, the Club sponsors two Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Guest Speaker for January 2025

Our Guest speaker was Erin from the PCYC in Port Macquarie. This organisation runs a wonderful sports program for the young people of Port Macquarie, as well as providing a helping-hand to those in need.

57th Birthday Celebrations

Members celebrated our Club's 57th Birthday Lunch in July, with the theme was Ladies Who Lunch, including a competition for the Best Hat.

This was a wonderful day with our friend playing the piano and we had another Comp for guessing songs and we sang, however not always in-tune!!!

Members and friends enjoyed a lovely lunch and the table decorations made by our Members were beautiful. There were lots of raffles and door prizes, which goes towards raising funds to sponsor our Learning for Life students.

Volunteering for the Aged in 2024

At the May meeting, Members learned about the Linked Aged Care Volunteers Visitors Scheme.

This Scheme creates meaningful connections and strengthens healthy social wellbeing for older people through friendship and regular visits. Linked are the auspicing organisation for this program which is funded by the Australian Government.

Easter Celebrations in March 2024

Members enjoyed a fun Easter meeting in March, with some great raffle prizes of Easter eggs.
