Buderim VIEW Club
About
Buderim VIEW Club was formed in 1993.
Currently, the Club sponsors eight Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.
We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about. Please RSVP by the previous Saturday to the first Wednesday of the month, to Vice President Gail at 0414 950 949.
Our function room is at the very centrally located Buderim Tavern. At our luncheon meetings we always have interesting guest speakers. New members are very welcome. Attending our club’s events will help raise funds for educating students of underprivileged families.
On the third Wednesday each month we have a social activity/outing.

Meet Our 2025 Committee
Our Club's Annual General Meeting which includes the election of our new committee who can be seen in the accompanying photo, was held in February.
Club’s December Luncheon
Please note, our December meeting/luncheon is on Wednesday 10th December 2025 (the 2nd Wednesday of the month, instead of the usual 1st Wednesday).
It will be our Club's Birthday Luncheon.
Christmas Lunch 2025
The Buderim VIEW Club held their Christmas Lunch social on Wednesday 19th November.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, company and dressed brightly for the occasion.

There were 5 volunteer Models taking part in the Fashion Parade.

Fashion Parade
Buderim VIEW Club put on a Fashion Parade on Wednesday 15/10/25 at the Buderim Tavern, with clothes from Friends Boutique at Buderim.
There were many Raffle Prizes, plus a ‘lucky door prize’ which was a dress from Friends Boutique, for the lucky winner. There were platters of pastries and little cakes with a glass of mimosa plus a tea, coffee and juice stand.
It was a successful event raising funds for the Buderim VIEW Club.
The money raised at this Charity event, will go towards the LFL (Learning For Life) students, who The Smith Family charity support.

May 2025 Luncheon
Guest Speaker at our May Luncheon and meeting was Dougal Pitt, who gave a very interesting talk about the history of Fibre to Fabric’.
Dougal was educated by and worked in the forest products industry of South Africa. After an assignment to a Hong Kong trading company dealing in specialised pulps for the textile, pharmaceutical and food industries, Dougal retired and has happily settled in Buderim.

Brenda Makes A Difference in May 2025

Adele was presented with a 20 year badge in recognition of her contributions to our Club and VIEW.
April 2025
Our Guest Speakers were Mathew and Juliet Middleton of Beezolted, who gave a talk on the Australian native bees, products and services. They also provide community workshops and performances.

Native Bees
This photo shows one of the Australia’s native species and these bees are tiny, being only 2mm long. Australia has 11 species of social stingless bees.
