- What we do
  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
- Resolutions
  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
There are more than 300 VIEW Clubs located in communities throughout Australia looking for new members – women from all backgrounds and walks of life, who want to make a difference.

About

Carindale VIEW Club was formed in 1994.

Currently, the Club sponsors ten Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Meet Our 2025 Committee

A successful AGM was held in January, when our 2025 Committee was inducted.

November 2024 Christmas

Last meeting of the year and the Elf got down off the shelf to join us as well as Mary Christmas.

28 Christmas Hamper raffles were won by a lot of very happy ladies.

September 2024 Spring Luncheon

Our Club celebrated their 30th birthday with a Pearl and Bling luncheon at Runcorn Tavern. Alan Le May (General Manager of The Smith Family Qld) and Ramon Valentino, a past Learning for Life student, were guest speakers.

Welcome New Members in August 2024

Accompanying photo shows four new Members receiving their badges, which was the first meeting at our new venue The Runcorn Tavern, which proved to be a very popular venue.

Make Bake or Grow 2024

During May, Members held a Make it / Bake it / Grow it Trading Table. We were inundated with home made goodies from our Members and had a very successful and fun day.

Barefoot Bowls Outing in 2024

A group of our Members enjoyed a BareFoot Bowls outing. So much fun and laughter followed by lunch and catching up.

Easter Celebrations in 2024

Our Club had a fabulous March Easter Lunch Meeting. Members made a superb effort of dressing up for the day.

Guest Speaker Aiden Grimes talked about his leadership skills on the Kokoda Track which he has traversed more than 120 times!

Random Acts of Kindness in February 2024

Our February lunch meeting was themed Random Acts of Kindness and our craft group decorated the tables for the lunch meeting.

Special Guest Speaker In January 2024

Our fabulous Guest Speaker on the day was Peter Rowsthorn who is appearing on stage in Brisbane in Chicago but is also well known for playing Brett in Kath & Kim.
