- What we do
  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
- Resolutions
  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
There are more than 300 VIEW Clubs located in communities throughout Australia looking for new members – women from all backgrounds and walks of life, who want to make a difference.

About

Toowoomba Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1999.

Currently, the Club sponsors seven Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Speaker for 26th Birthday Celebration in May

Guest speaker Jill (an author) received a thank-you gift from President Moira following her presentation about writing her book. Her talk also covered many other topics.

26th Birthday Celebration in May

Our club celebrated 26th Birthday on 14th May. Theme for the night was book character.

Speaker on International Women's Day 2025

It was an absolute privilege for us to have Dr Sheila Cook as the guest speaker on our IWD gathering.

Dr Cook is a highly experienced endocrinologist and obstetric physician.

International Women's Day 2025

Our club celebrated IWD for the dinner meeting on Wednesday 12th March 2025.

40 members and guests were treated to a glass of bubbly on arrival. This was followed by a two-course dinner. We also had a Mega-Draw Lucky Numbers which was well accepted and sold out.

The evening was a great success and will be held again in 2026.

Celebrating 25th Birthday

It was an absolute delight to attend the 25th birthday for Toowoomba Evening VIEW as one of their past Zone Councillors and National Councillors.

VIEW colours were used to put together a beautiful display of our Clubs history and to decorate the tables. A gorgeous cake made and decorated by one of the Toowoomba Day VIEW ladies was cut by inaugural member Vera, President Moira, and Jean Past Zone Councillor and National Councillor for the club.

Ten year pins were presented to Lynne and Di and a gift to inaugural member Vera. Marlene and Wendy from Toowoomba Day attended, and it was wonderful to enjoy the friendship of all those in attendance.
