- What we do
  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.
- Resolutions
  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

About

Marion VIEW Club was formed in 2002.

Currently, the Club sponsors twelve Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Trading Table in May 2024

For our May trading table, Members brought along their pre-loved, no longer used clothing for sale. It was a great success.

International Women's Day Volunteers and Planning

Our wonderful International Women's Day Volunteers Janice, Shirley, Mandy and Jill are Volunteers for the IWD Team.

The Team meets soon after the event to go over details of the day. We meet again around September to discuss the Menu for the following year, gifts for the Speaker and Entertainers, serviette colours and other details to make sure the event is as perfect as possible. The Team is supported by many Volunteer Raffle ticket sales.

Shirley Makes A Difference in 2023

Shirley has been a very active Member of our Club; she has organised a diverse group of guest speakers who have informed, entertained and inspired Members for many years. In this quest she has spent many hours researching and liasing the relevant guests before their visits and her warm and attentive attitude has ensured an always enjoyable experience for all.

October 2023

Members enjoyed an outing to Behind the Scenes at the Ballet. The photo shows Shyanne (Vicki's granddaughter) Vicki, Claire and Norma who were all waiting to go into the Theatre.

Learning about Organ Donations in 2023

Organ recipient, Julian Clark, who is now still alive due to the organ donation program, spoke of the processes required for both the donor's family and the recipient. It was an enlightening and thought provoking talk.

2023 Mystery Bus Tour

Members enjoyed a very relaxing Mystery Bus Tour, which took us to the Lake View Winery, overlooking the fields and enjoying the fresh sea air. All too soon it was time to head for home, but the beautiful memories remain.
