Oaklands VIEW Club

Currently, the Club sponsors eight Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

Are you new to the area, have more time for yourself, recently retired or looking to meet an enthusiastic and friendly group of women who enjoy discussing current issues, listening to thought provoking guest speakers, visiting places of interest and meeting informally to further social networks? Do you want to be involved with an organisation which raises funds to assist in the education of disadvantaged children? If so, come along and see if you would like to join.  We sponsor Learning for Life students and we look forward to hearing about the progress and development of our sponsored students.  Members get together for a monthly lunch meeting with a guest speaker, trading table and raffles.  Other opportunities to meet up are at a weekly walking group, Mah Jong group, monthly book club and monthly social coffee mornings.  There’s so much more if you want to be involved with excursions, exhibitions, movies and theatre.
