Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

About

Bairnsdale VIEW Club was formed in 2017.

Currently, the Club sponsors nineteen Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Meet Our 2024 Committee

Members held their AGM on 7th February at Club Eastwood. Zone Councillor Wendy took the Chair to oversee the election of the 2024 Committee.

She thanked the outgoing Committee for the commitment to supporting underprivileged children in the Smith Family Learning for Life Program, and installed the new Committee:

With the generous help of private donors and various Community Clubs who have donated goods for raffles, the Community who have supported all of our fundraising activities, and the commitment of our Members and organising Committees, we are now sponsoring eighteen students in the Learning for Life Program. Members are looking forward to another successful year and, welcome ladies to come and join us in our endeavour to support children in their education journey.

2024 Christmas Parade

Another wonderful Christmas Parade in Bairnsdale.

Bairnsdale VIEW Club ladies proudly carried the banner whilst waving at all the spectators lining the Main Street of Bairnsdale.

Santa and Kenny Koala rode on the Bairnsdale Advertiser truck and were followed by a huge array of vehicles, marching bands and groups representing schools, clubs and many businesses. The sun shone, onlookers cheered, an outing enjoyed by all.

Such a wonderful way to bring the community together.

Bairnsdale VIEW Club celebrates its 7th birthday with "007" style

On Wednesday 6th November, Bairnsdale VIEW Club celebrated it's 7th birthday with a '007' black and gold themed celebration luncheon.

The ladies looked amazing in their beautiful outfits with one in particular as 'James Bond' in black suit and bow tie!

Table centers had a touch of the '007' Bond theme as did the amazing birthday cake.

The VIEW Vocals entertained whilst James Bond movie soundtracks played in the background. A fun day for all in attendance.

Market Day Success

Bairnsdale VIEW Club held an amazing 'Market Day' to raise funds for their 19 'Learning for Life' students.

There was an abundance of delights on offer, delicious cakes and slices, hand crafted goods. Plants, pre loved household goods and more.

Children were entertained at the craft activity table whilst parents enjoyed a delicious coffee from the coffee van.

The Bairnsdale VIEW Club ladies were delighted to welcome members of the community to the market to support their wonderful fundraiser.

Convention Fashions 2023

August 2023

Our Club held a Soup and Roll day during August and a lovely number of Members and husbands and friends enjoyed the fabulous variety of soups on offer, followed by delicious slices. An idyllic setting, great weather and fellowship ensued. Thank you to Joan and Rob for your generosity a job extremely well done.
