- What we do
  VIEW members exclusively support the children’s education charity, The Smith Family.

  Every two years VIEW members vote on one or more issues of importance that will be the focus of advocacy and lobbying work for the coming years. These are called resolutions.

Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.
There are more than 300 VIEW Clubs located in communities throughout Australia looking for new members – women from all backgrounds and walks of life, who want to make a difference.

Rockingham Sound Day VIEW Club

About

Rockingham Sound Day VIEW Club was formed in 2003.

Currently, the Club sponsors fifteen (15) Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family programs.

We are a friendly and welcoming Club open to anyone interested in supporting the 15 Children we sponsor. We have speakers at our meetings, and raffles and we aim to have two events a month that anyone can come to.

We are always open to new members, so please get in touch today and come and see what it's all about.

Twenty Members were delighted to accept the Zone Councillors invitation to High Tea at thge RAAF Conference Rooms, Bull Creek.

Members had a wonderful bus outing in September. First stop was the beautiful Kings Park, Perth.

Following Kings Park, it was on to the Pinelli Estate Vineyards for a scrumptious lunch.

Rockingham Sound Comes of Age in May 2024

Members and guests celebrated our Club's 21st birthday with a lunch, and entertainment which included a gorgeous singer. Also, funny poems were recited, and the day was enjoyed by all.

Members enjoyed an interesting presentation by our own Lynne,. In her own unique style, Lynne spoke of keeping happy, with lots of fun, and thoughts to address life's challenges.

2023 Christmas Party

We had a special Santa visit at a wonderful Christmas Party which two of our Members organised to raise funds for our Learning for Life students. Games and fun and a lovely meal was enjoyed by everyone.

Members enjoyed a very interesting talk by guest speaker, Sheila Twine, on her experiences and times in Turkey. Sheila is always a wonderful speaker and we were all enthralled by her presentation.

2023 June Bunnings BBQ

We had a magnificent result for our June Bunnings BBQ raising $2,400 for our Learning for Life students. This was only possible by a group hard working people.
