Get Involved
- Volunteer
  As a VIEW member there are many opportunities to volunteer your time and skills to directly help and support The Smith Family and disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
- Fundraise
  VIEW members raise over $1.1 million annually for The Smith Family and sponsor more than 1,650+ Learning for Life students.
- Raise awareness and advocate
  With more than 300 clubs around Australia involving some 14,000 women from all walks of life, the collective voice of VIEW is an important aspect of the organsation's work.
- Sponsor a disadvantaged student
  Learning for Life sponsorship provides disadvantaged students with financial assistance, emotional support and access to learning and educational programs.
- Partner with VIEW
  VIEW is proud to have a wide range of community partners that support our fundraising efforts and the work of The Smith Family. We would like to thank the following companies for their ongoing support.

Aspley VIEW Club

About

Aspley VIEW Club was formed in 1994.

Formed in 1994 we are the largest Club in Australia with 200 members who actively raise funds to support our 25 sponsored Learning for Life students who are in primary and Secondary school. We also financially support other Smith Family appeals such as the Winter and the Christmas appeals. The Club sponsors a Literacy Award at one of our local schools.

Aspley VIEW Club is a generous, friendly group of like- minded women who enjoy delicious meals at our monthly luncheon meetings that are held in the Kittyhawk room, Kedron Wavell Club, Chermside.

At our meetings we have a broad selection of interesting guest speakers and we raise funds through our Trading table, Book stall and much sort after Raffle prizes.

Our members are very welcoming and our club has been the environment for many lasting friendships.

We have regular outings during the month such as coffee mornings, visits to interesting venues in Brisbane, card and games mornings and fund raisers such as Fashion parades.

New members are very welcome. We invite you to become part of this vibrant caring community.

The Club aims to promote the mission of VIEW (Voices, Interests, Education of Women) and to make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children through The Smith Family Learning for Life program.

Visiting Toowoomba's Carnival of Flowers

The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers was truly breathtaking, showcasing display after display of radiant blooms that uplifted the spirit.

Colourful Melbourne Cup Celebrations in 2024

The Members looked absolutely radiant, capturing the essence of spring with their colourful attire, exquisite hats, and fascinators - a true celebration of femininity and personal style.

Symphony of Elegance in Fundraising in 2024

Our first ever fundraiser showcasing our Club, VIEW Members and our younger generation guests. An organisation ready to spread its branches to all age groups and embrace everyone's unique view on the club and its cause.

Christmas In July 2024

Our theme for our Christmas in July was silver and blue. Beautiful Centre-pieces adorned in the middle of each table which just enhanced the Christmas atmosphere, and the room was decorated beautifully, which only added to the chic and glamorous outfits of the Members.

The Luncheon itinerary was jammed packed with entertainment with the guest speaker Bronwyn Sheehan of The Pyjama Foundation, pass the parcel, trivia and amazing jokes by our President Robyn.

Thank you to our wonderful Committee and Volunteers for all effort and dedication on a successful and enjoyable day.

Celebrating New Members in 2024

Every year Members celebrate all of our new Members with a lavish morning tea, catered by our talented committee, which we all enjoyed in July 2024.

Our Club is all about friendship, women supporting women, supporting and sponsoring children's education through our Learning for Life Program.

Museum Visit in 2024

Members enjoyed an outing to the Museum Of Brisbane Exhibition, Art of the Flowers, which was a fantastic day shared with our VIEW friends.
