Like The Smith Family, HCF is an Australian purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation. Our strategic partnership enables us to empower more young Australians experiencing disadvantage through education.

This is part of HCF’s efforts to build healthier communities by helping to address social issues that impact health outcomes.

HCF’s generous contribution over three years will support 1,500 children on our core Learning for Life program. This means that more students in need will receive long-term:

Financial support for education essentials, like uniforms, textbooks and excursions.
Personal support to help problem-solve barriers to education.
Practical support through access to learning and mentoring programs.

We know that education provides a pathway out of poverty. That’s why our proven combination of financial, personal and practical support helps young people in need to harness education and build skills to unlock their true potential.

Together with HCF, we’ll continue to improve student attendance, advancement and engagement – knowing that higher levels of education are linked to broader community health outcomes. To further support our students, HCF employees can also volunteer across a range of Smith Family activities.
