Under the mentorship of the Data Governance Lead this individual will learn about a critical challenge facing businesses – how organisations can better collect, manage and use data including:

What is data governance – why it is critical to modern organisations
What are the challenges faced in getting organisations to commit to Data Governance
Stakeholder engagement and consultation
What is the importance of communication and change management considerations when an organisation is seeking to embed a capability like Data Governance
Supporting the development of content to promote the understanding value and benefits of Data Governance

This role provides Project and administrative support for the implementation of the Data Governance Plan and to refresh the Data Governance Capability.

Gain industry experience in a growing field learn and support a key enabler for TSF – How it can better manage, protect and use its data.

Supporting implementing creative approaches so that Data Governance is easy to understand and adopt to change data practices and behaviours.

Skills, experience, education, attributes

Ideally the candidate would be a student undertaking or completing studies or a background in Communications, Change Management, Information Management, Data Science or Law
Volunteers with other studies or backgrounds will be also welcome
Strong research & time management skills
Attention to detail and high-level editing skills
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
Good project support and admin skills
Visual design and creating PowerPoint skills
