schads award review

The Smith Family has been undertaking a comprehensive review of the application of industrial instruments for our team members. As a result, we identified some issues concerning the application of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS Award), that required further investigation.

We have engaged an independent expert to assist us to investigate entitlements of current and former Award team members, for the period since 1 February 2017 to June 2024.

We are committed to ensuring that all team members receive their applicable entitlements under the Award. We are taking steps to address any issues, including contacting those former Award team members identified that did not receive their full entitlements at the relevant time and require remediation.
