While 2020 was challenging in so many ways, the pandemic could not stop our amazing Learning for Life students displaying their great talents. The Smith Family’s annual Creative Showcase competition gave student entrants a chance to show off their originality. They were invited to draw, paint, collage, 3D-create or write to the theme: If I could travel anywhere in the universe, I would travel to... And for the first time, in 2020 the Showcase went digital, giving students the chance to upload a photo of their creation.
From fun, colourful works of kindergarteners to sophisticated pieces by our university students, each piece highlights a student’s creativity and gives insight into their big dreams and rich imaginations. In such an unusual year, well done to each young entrant for such resilience and dedication. And thank you to our supporters and volunteers for believing in, nurturing and encouraging students to keep creating!
