Congratulations to our graduating tertiary and Year 12 Learning for Life students.
Every year we are delighted to celebrate this milestone event in the lives of our graduating students and their families at our annual graduation ceremonies held around Australia. Many of these students wouldn’t have achieved their educational success if it wasn’t for their generous sponsors who have supported them through their education. We would like to invite our supporters to watch this video and share in the celebrations of our graduating students.

One of these inspirational students, Lily, graduated high school last year and told us how she felt about the support she has received as a recipient of our Learning for Life sponsorship.
“I'm super excited about graduating. Year 12 was a massive year and my mum is proud of me, so it's pretty exciting,” says Lily.
Before becoming involved with The Smith Family, Lily’s family struggled to provide the essentials required for school. Lily and her sisters would often miss out on school excursions and would receive second-hand uniforms from their friends.
“The Smith Family sponsors helped us to be able to afford excursions and text books and other stuff that most other kids get normally,” says Lily.
“I'm so grateful for what [our sponsors] have done, it's really helped us. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity and doing what you've done.”
Lily is now going on to study a Bachelor of Arts and Communication in journalism at university. We’re so proud of Lily and all of our students who have worked so hard to achieve their dreams. Thank you to our supporters for helping making these dreams possible.
