Kacie's story

As a year three student, Kacie didn’t like school. She couldn’t read or do basic maths. She just didn’t want to be there. When she began receiving sponsorship and participated in Smith Family programs she felt like she did a ‘full turnaround’ – all thanks to the generous support of individuals like you.

Graduating high school in 2014, Kacie was accepted into her dream course and is now on the path to support disadvantaged students just like her.
