The Smith Family has proudly joined the Coalition of Support for the National Strategy for Volunteering to help make volunteering the heart of Australian communities

As official supporters of the National Strategy for Volunteering, The Smith Family has publicly committed to supporting the implementation of the Strategy’s vision, aims, and strategic objectives.

We recognise that we all have a part to play in ensuring that volunteering has a bright future in Australia. The National Strategy is a ten-year roadmap for how we can collectively build this future and our organisation is committed to this journey.

Without our dedicated volunteers giving their time and skills, much of The Smith Family’s work would not be possible at the current scale. We continually strive to ensure that volunteers have a positive experience while engaged with us by implementing volunteering-sector best practice standards (like those set out in the National Strategy and National Standards for Volunteer Involvement) and advocating for an organisation-wide culture of mutually beneficial and rewarding volunteering participation.

The Smith Family acknowledges the immense value of volunteering in Australia, driving positive social impact, and creating a more cohesive society.
